A long-time fan of Danny Meyer’s restaurants, Jason Kent came to HQ via a consulting industry event where he met Susan Salgado and learned about the consulting practice Susan was establishing at USHG. A respected and admired facilitator, Jason works with HQ’s clients in large scale training engagements as well as working with our clients’ trainers in Train-the-Trainer initiatives.
Jason Kent brings 20 years of invaluable coaching experience to HQ, having worked as a consultant to a wide range of industries including: financial services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and technology. Using his extensive insight, Jason has helped numerous organizations develop sustainable, scalable solutions to nurture growing teams and businesses.
Jason worked at American Express as the Director of Global HR Development & Communications where he was responsible for “HR for HR” initiatives. In this role, Jason shaped the learning & development and internal communication strategies for Amex’s global human resources population. A natural problem solver, Jason specialized in change initiatives and provided coaching to senior management and sales teams.
Prior to his tenure at American Express, Jason was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley responsible for leadership development and web-based learning technologies, and a Director at NYLCare Health Plans where he was responsible for various global training and technology initiatives.
